Yes, a new art studio + photography studio is coming soon! If you follow me on social media, you know I’m still alive and well 😉

Here’s a little bit about this new adventure:

We started building our Shop/Barn in Feb 2023. It was cold and snowy the day the two semi trucks dropped off all the building materials. The shop went up relatively quickly, but of course there were many delays with county permits, concrete, plumbing, electric, etc. Just a little over a year later, we are nearly complete. The shop side has been done and in-use for a few months.

My art studio is 1/3 of the shop and has taken longer. I did a few things myself: wall painting, stained the concrete floor, installed two vanities for sinks, and am now painting several cabinets, desks, and furniture pieces. I will be moving all my art supplies and furniture this month! I am so excited; I can hardly wait!

Artist Event

This Sat, May 4th, I’ll be doing an ​Artist Demo at the Blue Moose Art Gallery​ in Ft Collins from 10:30am-1:30pm. Fri 5/3 kicks off the opening reception of our ​Flower Art Showcase​ that continues the entire month of May. I’ve been in a flower-painting phase lately, so it’s great timing. I’ll demo my process for painting flowers.
