Out with the old . . . In with the new

We finally got my entire art studio moved into the new space! My studio space in the house was 10 x 14 ft. This new space is 22 x 30 ft.! I’m so excited. Finally everything will have its own “place” AND I get to have my canvas bin near me again (it’s been in the garage).

Time to unpack, put everything away, decorate, and start using it! Do you have any favorite tips for organizing your creative space? Let me know please!

Family Update

We spent last week on a family vacation in the Outer Banks of NC. It’s a favorite place of ours that we used to visit often when we lived in VA. We took our family of five, plus one boyfriend, one girlfriend, and met up with 3 of the kids’ friends from the area. It was a great week with so much laughter, relaxation, and smiles.

The big event was our daughter got engaged. Hubby and I found out it was going to happen just a few days before, so we helped him plan the timing. She had no idea and was so excited! They are a great couple and we couldn’t be happier!
